    Reasonable. Seems like a massive liability issue for Airbnb if thing get out of hand.

    Plus the government is pretty much asking them to do that.

    Trump himself said yesterday in his video that there is a lot of unrest planned.

      We have already canceled any and all deliveries within the Capital Beltway from today through the 26th. They've already closed down multiple roads with more road closures to come.

          Nope. President Trump's America.

              This is the part of January 6 I will never understand as what is going on now is 100% the only outcome.

              Just so hard to explain 1/6 , nothing in history compares. Sort of like a whale beaching itself.

                Interesting analogy.

                I think the true believers might have thought the military would join in. At least if you listen to the interviews from that morning that Xenon posted the other day these guys thought they had backup for sure.

                  @loki Such a great analogy.

                  I have some colleagues who are like "I bet you're going to see much worse on inauguration day!" and I reply that I really think 1/6 was the peak of their movement. The craziest folks among them that would fly/travel to DC to try and stop the election...they've shown their cards, and their faces.

                  Average MAGA folks (of which I can agree with many of them) aren't on the nutcase scale the way those who stormed the Capitol are. Most want America to be great, see Trump as a huge (YUGE) advocate for "America first", and also see Biden as a bumbling idiot...but most also don't support anti-democratic "stop the election" actions.

                    You'll see some true believers act up but the mere adventurers have probably been scared straight as they see the FBI and DOJ are in it for keeps. And Trump won't save them.

                      Imagine how you feel right now if you were there and you are shitting yourself that your cell phone is being tracked...even if you didn’t go inside. Thinking about family, friends and mostly your employer finding out as well as the knock on the door.

                        If you were at the march but didn't breech the capitol I doubt you have anything to worry about.

                        I mean, assuming you weren't assaulting cops or whatever.

                        But thousands breeched the capitol. Most haven't gotten the knock yet, I suspect. I'm sure most of them know it's coming.

                          Thousands? Are we talking through the door or the security perimeter around the Capitol?

                            I’d guess about 1,000 breached inside. A few thousands outside (but within the external perimeter)

                              Off duty police from across the country who attended the rally are being outed and their social media posts not just of the rally exposed. Just saw that this morning. I think buzzfeed.
