For what its worth as much as Trump deserves it I think this is a bad idea.
A suspension until 1/21 to prevent him from fomenting any more violence before his term ends would be more justifiable.
Having said that, I reserve the right to post jokes and memes about it. Obviously.

I guess with all the memes we have quickly moved from sadness to comic sarcasm. But in the next moment we will be back to the end of democracy.
The next DSM needs to have a special designation for this.

https://www.politico.com/news/2021/01/08/trump-reacts-to-twitter-ban-456785
In a statement issued by the White House, Trump said he’d been “negotiating with various other sites” while “we also look at the possibilities of building out our own platform in the near future.” But aides did not reveal what plans were in the works. When Trump’s eldest son, Don Jr. offered up a URL to those hoping to keep tabs of his father’s whereabouts, it was a site that had been purchased in 2009 and, in recent years, a place where his books were sold. For those who did sign up, an email was sent, plugging his latest work: “Liberal Privilege”.
I hope he builds his own platform.

Sounds interesting. Liberal Privilege is definitely a thing, but it would be more abstractly termed Pop Culture Privilege. If the large part of the weight of the cultural ideas are behind you, you can get away with a lot.

Renauda's prediction is that pop culture will turn authoritarian right within a foreseeable future. I don't see that as a reasonable possibility, much less a probability, personally. I think our pop culture has too much inertia towards the left.

My prediction is that an American caesar or Napoleon will arise out of this mayhem and once and for all quell the mob. You really ought to go to Wikipedia and look up what 19 Brumaire was, maybe then you'll understand.
Yes, I know you disdain the lessons of history but that's your problem.

I don't understand how one could win control over America, without winning over pop culture. If that is not your contention then I have misunderstood your prediction.

Winning over pop culture was never my contention. Tearing down the mob rule of pop culture was.

So our duly elected government will manage to maintain an authoritarian right platform simply because a majority of voters will prefer it to the mob rule of the left?
If that's the contention, I don't see it. The majority, including our most important cultural idea propagators (MSM, big tech, movies, celebrities, influencers, etc), have no real issue with mob rule of the left.

That said, if the majority really did become repulsed enough by leftist mob rule, I don't see why a decent person wouldn't welcome the change you predict as at least "a better alternative". Perfect shouldn't be the enemy of the good.
