I do. That's a big reason that I believe the election was stolen, actually. But we have two sets of laws now. One for the Right, and one for democrats.

There was a time in this country when the rule of law was by the British. Those who resisted that rule are called Patriots.

        It feels that way.

We'll see if the republican resistance is as intense as the democrat resistance was 4 years ago and over the last 4 years.

        I doubt it will be.

We have a sitting president who is lying about a stolen election and supporting the mob that just invaded the Capitol because they didn’t like the outcome of a free and fair election and wanted to stop the peaceful transition of power. Think about that. ....And just because some here agree with the president’s politics (as I do, btw), they’re willing to overlook all of that and take pride in what just happened. Given how patriotic I know they are, how they haven’t disavowed this president by now is mind boggling.

Again. Sitting president, unwilling to accept the election results, telling his supporters to protest an “election stolen from us that we won in a landslide” (which is categorically false) and saying he loves those who just violently invaded the Capitol.

It truly makes me dizzy how historically significant Trump’s actions are.

Because I think the election was rigged. Certainly by the media coverage. Certainly by the questions in the first debate. Definitely by the lack of Biden coverage and by the lack of Hunter Biden coverage. Definitely rigged by a never ending litany of Russia! Russia! Russia!

And knowing how things have been done for many years in politics down here ( or in Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit, etc.), where votes are routinely falsified or "found" in the middle of the night, I have little doubt of significant fraud.

Trump, whether he's right or wrong, believes an election was stolen from him. And he's going down swinging. I don't think he had any intention of inciting the level of protest that he created...But remember, this wasn't Anti-fa in Portland. And neither was the police response.

Lastly, my opinions are my own. And if you don't like that, you can kiss my natural born, Southern ass.

Yep. Doesn’t matter what are your politics, etc.

                    This was just CRAZY BAD!

This is just huge news all over the world, and not in a good way.

And with that, Donald Trump gets swept into the trash bin of history.

I appreciate the reply. I agree the media has been anti-conservative for a while, at least the last few decades. But how that leaps to an election being fraudulent is beyond me.

I’d just wonder how you’d react if in 2012 Obama lost to Romney by a landslide but Obama refused to accept the loss, and constantly spread a lie of the election being stolen and a mob of Obama fans storming the Capitol. I’m pretty sure you’d grab your shotgun and head north to defend democracy.
