One should perhaps ask how Jon knows he can add them to others’ posts. We need a special persecuter.

You can only add tags to a thread you've started. You can't add tags to anyone else's posts.
Start a thread, and you'll see "add tags" at the bottom. Enter as many as you want, with a CR after each.

I have added the tag TAGDISCUSSIONS to this thread and propose to use it to tag all further discussions of tags.
