Why They Hate Trump
Simply put, they hate Trump because he represents ordinary Americans — those who are not part of the political and corporate elite, who lack the advantages and connections of the Deep State, who are not media, academics, or celebs. President Trump puts ordinary Americans first, and it drives the elite nuts. That alone is a great introduction to How to build an Authoritarian State and Cult of Personality.
Donald Trump; the Juan Peron of the 21st century.

Trump is not Peron.
The United States is not Argentina.
And sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

But surely there's a comparison to be made with a Flinstones' character or episode of Seinfeld?

Putin considered Berlusconi a light weight.
BTW, a joke gowing around Moscow last month went like this: "The next American president will the candidate whom President Putin congratulates."
.....still awaiting the congratulations from the Kremlin.
