Wow, why do you not love the USA, that you don't think a foreign country systematically interfering in the USA's election is not the issue?
Another Senate committee has already released a report that showed that Trump did not participate in it, and yet another committee report concluded that Hillary DID participate in it.
You post lies. You're just making shit up. Cite the specific reports or go away with your lies.
What are you, the ultimate arbitrator of conversation?
I am one who can tell lies from truth. I am one who can tell bullshit from facts.
What @Larry posted are lies and you should know it.No they're not. I can't help it that you're a moron.

Read it and weep, Ax. Then get off your ass and look the other ones up yourself.
Before you call someone a liar again, pull your head out of your ass and educate yourself.

What @Larry posted are lies and you should know it.Look, you're a pinheaded, one-trick pony, with such a glaring lack of social skills you couldn't get laid in a whore house with a ten-inch strap-on and a fistful of $100 bills.
Did the Russians screw around in our election? Yep. Did they have any real effect? Nope. Did the Trump Campaign collude in any way with the Russians? Nope.
Have the Chinese ever meddled in American elections? Yep. Effectively? I dunno, what can the Clinton's and the DNC do with a few million bucks? Was a special prosecutor appointed to look into that? Nope. Has Hillary gone out of her way, even during this latest COVID-19 pandemic to praise the Chinese? Yep. What is she getting out of it? I don't know.
Now, I'm going to watch Trump's briefing and you can go piss up a rope with your feigned concern.

Should the guy in office acknowledge this and at least tell the Russians to knock it off?
Maybe the previous president should have done something to stop it, huh?
But he did nothing. It occurred on the Obama/Biden watch, didn't it?
-
@xenon said in Senate Intelligence report on 2016 Russian election interference:

Or rather - at the very least not say the intelligence community doesn't know they're talking about.
-
No.
-
When he said they didnt know what they were talking about, he was referring to their attempts to claim he colluded with the Russians, not whether or not they were meddling in the election.
You need to remember a few things, as you seem to be of the opinion that this report proves something negative about Trump. It does not. All it proves is that the Russians meddle in our election in an attempt to help Trump. It does not make the claim that Trump knew this, colluded with the Russians, or that the intelligence community is not guilty of pushing an attempted coup. All it does is prove the Russians meddle in our election, and in their opinion, did so in an attempt to help Trump win. That's old news. The Russians have been meddling in our elections for decades. They meddle in our election tions when Obama won, too. Maybe a Senate committee would prove the did so to help Obama win.
Don't think this proves anything. It doesnt.

He did - he sanctioned them in Dec 2016 after the election. Hard to say Russians are backing Trump during an active election without seeming biased.
The original IC report came out in Jan 2017

Very good point. It wasn't Trumps responsibility to deal with this, it was Obama and Biden's job.

Trump's talking about Putin on the subject:
“Every time he sees me he says, 'I didn't do that,' and I really believe that when he tells me that, he means it.”

“Every time he sees me he says, 'I didn't do that,' and I really believe that when he tells me that, he means it.”
So what's your point? You seem to be agreeing that Trump didn't know anything about it.

The point is exactly the one in the start of this thread.
Senate committee says Russia interfered. They know. They know because we have intelligence. This intelligence has known this since before Trump got elected.
Trump knew.
He acts like he doesn't.
And disagrees with the IC when they correct him.

Isolation does take a heavy toll.
The Shrinks will be VERY busy in a few months.

You have no proof that he knew it. But that doesn't even matter, because he didn't collude with them, or participate in any way. We know for a fact that the FBI attempted to set him up and trap him. That's been proven. We know for a fact that Hillary and the DNC participated in it, having paid million for the "Steele dossier", which was filled with Russian propaganda designed to hurt Trump, not help him.
What the Russians were actually trying to accomplish was to create chaos. And the were counting on the Left/democrats to rush in and greedily give it to them.

The son of a bitch better hope he can stay isolated from me. I tend to slap people who call me a liar into next week if I can reach them.

Obama sanctioned them in December 2016 for this. So.... Trump knew it. That's the proof.
Say you have a family dispute - and your asshole neighbor Bob tries to horn in on it and play your family members against one another.
You find out about it. Now Bob is not going to be the deciding factor in your family dispute.
But do you:
-
A) Tell Bob to fuck off
-
B) Pretend like Bob didn't do anything because Bob won't listen to you and hey, you might have not been nice to him in the past either - so you had it coming. Then you get mad at your own son for uncovering that Bob was meddling.
Maybe there's more options. But Trump chose B

Worried about FISA court abuse any?
Haven't noticed that you are. If not, then all this hot air is just the usual Trump-bashing choo-choo train.
Pay no attention to the Swamp actually meddling in an election. No, watch the pretty lights over there, where the MSM tells you to look.

I responded in the travesty thread:

My overall sentiment was that I’d wait for the Durham report, because there are few facts and findings at this point.
But that’s a different topic.

It's all the same ball of wax. The bottom line is what is detrimental to the country.
Keep your eyes on the prize.
