Yeah, it’s stupid.
The whole reason we call them illegal aliens is because they’re subject to our laws.

YouTube bans different content in different places, often a result of different censorship laws in the various locales where YouTube operates. Sometimes YouTube itself gets entirely banned by certain regional governments.

In the USA, it's well within YouTube's rights to ban any speech it wants (and I'm pretty sure they wrote their end user agreement that way). Just go use a different video distribution service or do the distribution yourself if YouTube bans your video.

YouTube still has a link, from 2 years ago, indicating that it's "highly probable" that Russian interference swung the 2016 election.
