@Mik lol.
(But you are probably right. 555)
the funny thing is, there are many policies that he does that I agree with. But I don’t agree with his value system and his leader ship qualities for sure.
Tell me - which of his values is it that you don't agree with?
After you've answered that, tell me what you think is wrong specifically with his leadership skills.
I take it that you can't answer...

Everybody has different things that they think make up a good leader, but in my opinion, one of the major failings in President Trump leadership is that it appears to me that everything has to be a win-lose proposition.
In my limited view, everything has to be "my way or no way", which is quite different than what I like to do. I believe it is possible to have a win-win between two groups/countries/parties/people, etc.
I may have to give up a bit to achieve that, but if both sides walk away feeling satisfied, then that makes for a better long term relationship and a better possibility that, in the future, there is much more chance of working together without animosity.
I know someone will reply to this saying, "well, politics isn't ....."
I am probably most interested in his handling or foreign affairs and I believe (in my opinion) that he has done more damage in foreign relationships than positive things.

Well there's one of your problems - you think he doesn't compromise when the fact is that he DOES compromise. Based on what you just said your idea of compromising is to give up and let it be a win lose situation with the other guy winning.
You also think he has "done more damage in foreign relationships than positive things". That tells me you're more concerned with whether China (for example) likes us. It doesnt matter whether China or any other country likes us or not. You've just described what POOR leadership is. What matters is whether or not they are playing by the rules and not taking advantage of us. If (__insert country of your choice here) doesn't like us because we demand they play by the rules, tough. The USA is not here for that country to screw us over.
Your idea of what constitutes a leader scares the living shit out of me.

This is just how stupid the democrat party thinks it's base is. They will continue to ignore Trump'sbachievements, and then claim Biden did it. Assuming Biden ends up in office, the media and the democrat party will give Biden credit for the vaccine, when the shutdowns end and the economy bounces back they'll claim Biden did it, and 2 or 3 years from now when the wheels begin coming off the economy and we are heading down the toilet as a nation, it will be because Trump is campaigning again.

Is this true? Trump anchored it to the beginning of the new administration?

Well, I would query TG about her disagreement with Trump's foreign policies.
It is in large part because of his foreign policies -- that I voted for Trump.
Let's see, how many wars did he start or escalate in the middle east? As many as the recent agreements between Israel and several of those little countries in the middle east? TG, that's called sarcasm on my part. Trump caused me to pay a 25% tariff on goods imported from China. TG, that's not sarcasm, but putting my country ahead of my substantial personal greed.
How about when Trump said to NATO allies, "That's OK, don't pay the 2% if you don't want to."
I do think Trump should have done more, like increase condemnation of China and what they did to Hong Kong. And, he could have done more to emphasize U.S. support of Taiwan, should the mainland try to pull a Hong Kong on Taiwan. TG, that was a totally messed up sentence, so I can feel equity in screwing up the English language. "Equity" is the new cool word BTW.
The CCP will have Biden in their back pocket, nine dashes and all on China's approved map. I do not adhere to conspiracy theories based upon Biden and Son. I have plenty enough of overwhelming paranoia to cover that ground and then some, enough to blanket the earth. Have there been enough metaphors in this post, yet? Impossible. Never enough. That's why I'll now go sweep under my own porch.

Yeah Biden is going to save the country from Covid (Gore 2.0). That will be hilarious to watch him and the media go for that mantle. Seriously I can’t wait. Cheap scotch everywhere.
I’d love to see the press conference.
I think we’ve all forgotten that before Trump presidents used to be able to talk about government plans and timelines without pretending they are some kind of personal accomplishment that made him better than Lincoln or whatever.
Remember when Presidents did the opposite? Both parties. They would actually say something like “thanks to all the hard work of...” and then reference the nameless staff in the departments.

Yeah, politicians never tried to take credit for things they had little to do with personally like killing Bin Laden, creating the internet, etc...

Nice little straw man you built there. Let me know if you need any help knocking it down, but you can probably handle it on your own.
-
No question that Trump is far more brazen and crass with his self-promotion, but let’s not pretend that others haven’t done it, if only in a more understated manner.
-
That’s true. I was responding to Loki’s suggestion that Biden was presenting himself as the savior.
I seriously doubt he did that.

You can doubt it all you want, but Biden has already done it.

Before the vaccine came out being the Covid savior was at the top of his platform. If he can substitute something else you are correct. The dilemma is how do you stop Trump from being right about the vaccine and co-opt credit for it. Everything is going to get better next year, would be a shame if the root cause was the prior administration.
