    Watching Fargo, season 4.

    Chris Rock is just amazing.

Finished episode 5 this afternoon, and I really have no idea of where it's going, but absolutely loving it. I just sucks you in, deeper and deeper.

Oh, and Timothy Olyphant, of course.

I think I mentioned (can't find the thread) that, although it's set in Kansas City, a lot of it is shot in Chicago, including my town.

@George-K What did you think of Season 3? I got really inpatient and bored, are you saying Season 4 is a different beast?

@Loki Season 3 was a meh, in my book as well. It was interesting, but it tried too hard to be quirky, IMO.

Season 4 is completely different, set in 1950. AFAICT, there's only one character that carries on into the "Fargo Universe" - Mike Milligan. I'm really enjoying it. Multiple storylines, some of them intersect, and I think more of them will intersect as the story unfolds (I have 6 episodes to go).

It's worth watching just for seeing Chris Rock play a hard-nosed gangster.

              "Mr. Cannon, I'm sorry."

"Oh, we're way beyond 'I'm sorry'. We're at 'Whatever you want me to do, I'll do, boss'."

                Season 5 is a lot more "Fargo-ish."

Much more quirky, and darker than 4 was.

But of all the things I did NOT expect to see in Fargo was Jon Hamm with nipple piercings, in a hot tub.
