That exact phrase told to the judge by Giuliani in PA and their lawyer in AZ.
But they say something totally different on tv.
I wonder who they’re lying to? The judges that can punish them for lying or their base who eats it up?

Read this opinion

Instead, this Court has been presented with strained legal arguments without merit and speculative accusations, unpled in the operative complaint and unsupported by evidence. In the United States of America, this cannot justify the disenfranchisement of a single voter, let alone all the voters of its sixth most populated state. Our people, laws, and institutions demand more. At bottom, Plaintiffs have failed to meet their burden to state a claim upon which relief may be granted. Therefore, I grant Defendants’ motions and dismiss Plaintiffs’ action with prejudice....
...This claim, like Frankenstein’s Monster, has been haphazardly stitched together from two distinct theories in an attempt to avoid controlling precedent.
This from a conservative Republicans judge who was a member of the federalist society.
It’s so pathetic to watch

Brennan and Schiff probably know.

I think we all know. Except the most ideologically possessed among us.

Bach's post of the Pennsy judge's comments is as plain and at the same time as eloquent as it gets.

And I posted in the the other thread that Rudy is delusional
The wording is so strong the circuit may just chuck it. And then it won’t get near SCOTUS
Like I posted in the pathway thread, the only pathway for trump is not the courts but by hijaking electors.
Chance of that seems slim to me.

I read the court’s dismissal of the Trump case. All 3x pages.
One thing is abundantly clear. Our democracy is alive and well and thriving.
So enough already with the sky is falling crap, please.

I am an optimist and I have say before - every four years one side or the other seems to think that the end of the world (or at least the US) is coming because their guy did not get elected. Did not happen then. Do not think it will happen now.

No, I would say the judicial system is working well and thriving
The sky will fall if the electors dont follow through on the will of the people.
Then that will be the end of democracy.
But honestly, I doubt that also will happen.

Chance of that seems slim to me.From NYT: "And another thing that history tells us . . . is that the legal bar is extremely high when it comes to invalidating the votes of American citizens. Even if they are proved, the irregularities have to be substantial enough to alter the outcome of a race.
“The prevailing view today is that courts should not invalidate election results because of problems unless it is shown that the problems were of such magnitude to negate the validity of which candidate prevailed,” Edward Foley, an elections law expert at Ohio State University’s Moritz College of Law, said. This tends to be hard to demonstrate, he said, since it’s hard to show which candidate a disputed ballot was intended to be cast for.

First time in my life I encountered faithless electors and one side tried to use it was, wait for it.....2016.
It was such a cool idea then. What happened? L. 0. L.

And the next day, when you've been proven wrong, you'll change your tune again to "America is lost, only idiots, I'll sell everything and move elsewhere" rather than "I was wrong".

Oh, I intend to sell everything no matter what. I still have no faith in our government any more. Nothing ive said has been inconsistent. I still think this world is being overrun by idiots and sheep. Im just going to enjoy watching the Leftwingers' heads explode in the next couple of weeks. The only question in my mind is if any of them will have their eyes opened, or if they're terminally sheep.
Hahahahaha
