    I eagerly await the analysis of how many extra cases of COVID-19 occurred because of these celebrations.

              What do you think the over/under (God I hate that term) odds are that that analysis will happen? I'd guess less than 25%.

                      A few weeks ago, we were told that the risk of transmitting SARS-CoV-2 in an outdoor event was pretty low. That was in the context of the BLM riots protests.

                      Then, last week we were told that hundreds of cases of COVID-19 occurred during the Trump rallies.

                      I'm so confused.

                          Over long enough time, the probability approaches 100%.

                          I guess something like 50% in five years, 80% in ten years, 99.99% in twenty years.
