Accusations of fraud in our elections by the President, without evidence is moronic.

But moron’s gonna moron, I guess.

The problem is Jolly he only wins by getting whole classes of votes disqualified in multiple states. Not by stopping some unspecified “fraudulent votes”.

Trump has never said to not count the votes. He has said to count all legal votes.

That’s just false. You want quotes? Tweets? Court filings?

Nothing false about it. I've heard the man say it.

Let's just take Pennsylvania...The legislature set the election law. The governor changed the law for this election, citing COVID concerns. The matter went before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, where four elected Democrat judges ruled in favor of the Democrat governor.

I'm sorry, but I think that is in violation of the U.S. Constitution.

So now, we are counting ballots with no postmarks, smudged postmarks, illegible signatures, ballots coming in three days after the election. We are counting those without allowing observers within the legally allowed distance...Hell, some places have thrown observers out! That's in violation of Federal election law.

So now, the votes have been manufactured and almost counted. At the end of the count, Biden will take Pennsylvania. Not with a landslide, but with a close enough margin to make it look good. In 1960, Daly thought 8000 was about enough, so that's approximately how many were "found" for that ekection. Maybe somebody with a sense of humor and history will make Biden's margin about 8000 votes...

            Meh. Rank speculation.

The postmark problem is quite real. The ballot return envelopes are prepaid and the USPS doesn’t postmark prepaid mail. They’ve agreed to implement it in the case of ballots by policy but they openly concede that there will be a lot of errors.

As for the PA case, it certainly isn’t against the US constitution. It may be against the PA constitution and possibly Scotus will chime in.

Again to Andy McCarthy’s point we don’t know how many ballots that is. Pretty much depends on the USPS error rate.

And Biden will win the state by 100k. That will make it moot.

It’s odd to think that this would be a big avenue for fraud.

Imagine an organization sophisticated enough to manufacture ballots, fake 20,000 or so registrations, somehow get all the signatures different, etc. All the myriad things required.

Wouldn’t such an organization have the technical capability to drop them in mailboxes sometime before the end of October?

Article 2, which addresses the Electors, specifically gives that job to the state legislatures. As the Constitution has been applied in the past, the state legislatures set state election law. In Pennsylvania, they did so. The governor changed that law for supposedly COVID reasons. His changes were upheld by elected judges (all Dem) on Pennsylvania's Supreme Court.

If Republicans were like Democrats, Philadelphia would be burning to the ground, even as we speak.

The problem from Trump’s end is that HE took it to court. It needs to be the state legislature...

But beyond that, 100K votes in a city with Philly’s proven track record? Easy peas...How many Judges of Elections and City Officials have been arrested this year for ballot stuffing and voter fraud? 2 at least...You think they were the only ones? Not a chance. They stop watchers from entering, when forced to allow watchers they keep them 50-80 feet away... When a judge rules they have to be closer they shut down counting and take it back to the courts...But nothing to see here

Excuse us for asking the state and city to follow the laws of their state and Federal Election Law. You should want some transparency, too...

Georgia is down to 2k vote differential.

“As many as” is doing a lot of work there. But sure, these should be investigated.

A friend of mine moved from Reno to CA last year and received a ballot at her mom’s house in NV.

That is to expected, since they obviously don’t purge voter rolls every year.

Of course she knew better than to vote the ballot.

For my own part, I was tempted to vote against DeBlasio in 2013, the election was maybe 60 days after I left th3 city. But I didn’t.

I just woke up so I’m trying to get my brain working. Thought by now it would be over

As for the Pennsylvania extra three day law, I heard the Pa sc state say on TV when pressed, that either way, the number of votes arriving postmarked after Election Day was too low to make any difffernce. Some counties had 0. Bigger counties maybe a few hundred. Even if they threw out every vote after nov 3 it would not change the outcome. So if the WH really presses that point in court and wins, makes no goddamn difference.
