The Commission is biased and should be abolished.

I understand that point, but then again it’s really just implementing a mechanism to enforce the rules the campaigns originally agreed to.

      You were warned.

This isn't rocket surgery. Give each candidate twenty minutes to speak, and then let them have at each other for thirty minutes.

Wash, rinse and repeat for two or three more debates.

Do people want a repeat of the last debate?

Muting the mics is just another bit of changing the rules to favor the challenger.

Every time that is done it makes Mr. Trump stronger.

                Go ahead, mute them.

Exactly. From what I read, the rules called for a person to make a statement, and the opponent 2 minutes to respond. BOTH sides agreed to this.

I dont think that the Debate Commission is "changing the rules".

If the rules said that during the 2 minute response, the opponent can talk over and interrupt, then yes, they are changing the rules. But that is not the case here.

And anyway, why does President Trump feel this is such a bad thing? If he is so concerned that VP Biden will talk weird and disconnected, I think he would be happy to allow VP Biden to speak.

The rule was that the rules would not be enforced.

                    That changed.
