Compared to this stuff, anyway.
Organic, shade-grown sencha.
The problem is the caffeine. What do you get when you ingest your 12-16 oz of java? A light buzz maybe? Pffffft. This shit will kick your ass. It's got plenty of caffeine, sure, so you get your buzz, but it also provides assloads of easy-to-metabolize theanine. A couple 6-oz cups of this business, the chemical crosses the blood-brain barrier and you, my friend, get invited to a higher plane of existence. A couple more cups though and you get tea drunk for a couple hours.
I'll likely never go back to coffee again.

Drink five cups without passing out or hallucinating and then get back to me.
And it's legal, man!

Dude, go to South Louisiana. Go to one of the homes where they have an old porcelain sockolator pot. Watch as they make coffee and it darn near chugs out of the pot.
The original energy drink.

Not interested unless I can smell colors after cup five.

After about the third cup, the ends of your hair feels like it's burning...

Does the caffeine still cause stomach issues? When I drank a lot of coffee I ended up getting really awful acid reflux, but I've never been sure whether that was the coffee or the caffeine.
Maybe you'll find out in about 5 years

Hint: Switch to a dark roast. Less acid, less acid reflux. Won't do away with it completely, but it helps.

No, because the tea's a ton less acidic. On a completely empty stomach it can make you feel nauseous, so just do the British thing and eat, like, I dunno, a crumpet or something while you're guzzling it down and you'll be fine. A very small amount of food negates it.
Seriously though, man. Caffeine is fine and all, but theanine + caffeine is where it's at.
