Carol's niece and nephew came down with Covid - wasn't too bad - and recovered fairly quickly n<week. They're both in their early 30s.

+1 She's young and should recover without too much trouble. I hope that's exactly what her experience is with this. Yet I understand your concern and am glad you are staying in touch with her regularly. Please keep us posted.

She’s young and healthy and comes from a healthy family. I trust she will be fine, but the worry has got to be very difficult.

Has she started taking Famotodine or anything else to help mitigate symptoms?

Sorry to hear. Fingers crossed.

A good friend of mine caught it, a bit older. She was just miserable for about a week, nothing indicating hospitalization needed. She lost taste and smell and made little progress for months but now suddenly is 100% back on both.

Sorry to hear this, George. If it helps at all I have two healthy colleagues of my age who caught it and shook it off in a week with no real ill-effects.

Not yet. She got more symptomatic on Saturday, and I ordered her a pulse-ox. It's arriving this afternoon.

Why your daughter may be more impacted than Trump is something that seems to not be understood yet, although any of the 3 treatments he got could be the answer.
