From the White House transcript of the conversation about the fact that bleach can kill the virus in one minute.
"And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning. Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that. So, that, you're going to have to use medical doctors with. But it sounds—it sounds interesting to me."
It is definitely one of those statements that both sides and point at and say - "See, I'm right!!!!" LOL

The President should not say things like that, even if it's partly or mostly humor. There is NO humor on the left, at all, which is why Trump rallies are so entertaining and draw huge crowds.
He should not have said it, but haven't we all thought it, as an attempt at common sense solutions when the "experts" give such conflicting or changing information?
Let's see. My questions, like Trump's off-the-cuff remark:
How about an inhaler, that when used will kill the virus like breathing in Lysol? IOW, how long does it take the virus molecule to get to work once in the lungs? Use the inhaler three times daily, it works because it takes the virus 6 hours to set up shop once inhaled.How about a large ultraviolet contraption, built like the security walkthrough at airports, where you enter your house, stand there for 15 seconds, and the ultraviolet light kills any virus on your clothes. Hey, could get sexy, make it wide enough that two naked people could stand together, and screw the virus along with themselves? Larry could pre-order.
How about a misting spray in buildings, where like ceiling fire suppression sprinklers emit a continuous mist into the air, which would kill the virus on surfaces, and kill the virus as people walk around and breathe in the virus Raid. Like a humidifier, it raises the antiviral percent in the air, but is not really noticeable.
How about masks that are impregnated with a chemical that would kill the virus on contact, exhaled or inhaled?
How about a mask that streams exhaled breath through a relatively large tube, coated internally and with a screen (think catalytic converter) with Lysol-like substance?
How about all handrails have a foam-like cover, changed daily in all stores and buildings, where the contact surface has 12 hours worth of chemical that remains wet, so that every customer that touches any product while browsing also is disinfecting product packaging because their hands were disinfected by the hand rail, and they didn't even notice they were part of the process?
How about wrist bands, which start to beep if you start reaching for your nose or eyes?
AND SO ON... especially by people much smarter than me.We cranked out ventilators and other essentials en mass. Couldn't there have been equal emphasis placed on the private sector creating common-sense entrepreneurial devices with fast-track approval for those that work, as opposed to those that are a scam?
So, Trump said a dumb thing. But not all dumb things are necessarily dumb ideas. I'm sure Trump has had lots of dumb ideas over the decades, maybe some that weren't so dumb also made him millions.
