Running out of gas in an airplane is a rather silly mistake, isn't it?
That would happen to me sometimes when I was running moonshine in the Ozarks. Little moonshine in the engine went a long way luckily.

Been reading a book on CVE's in the WW2 Pacific theater. I know those jeep carriers could be hard to fly from, but pilot error killed more pilots than the Japanese.
