I run with my phone in my hand. On a couple of occasions where drivers were behaving badly, just turning on video seemed to modify their behavior.

There is a culture in our country of people who absolutley detest bicyclists. Always where the helmet. An exposed uzi strapped around your torso couldn’t hurt either

@jon-nyc have you considered being intentionally hit by cars less often?

I hadn’t before but now I’m giving it some thought.

Glad you're ok. But just BE CAREFUL. (With all live and respect to peddlers--being dead and right is not a good plan.)

Jon - Really glad to hear this did not turn out worse and you are okay. There are some real jerks out there and this could have ended much worse. I've had scary incidents on my bike but nothing quite that blatant.

I remember about the Sean Bradley tragedy.

Super tall people do look more fragile. There may be something to that. I wonder how Victor Wembanyama will do over time.

Glad there were no injuries. Several years ago, the brother of the Lieutenant Governor in CT lost his leg from a hit and run accident while on his bike. (found and arrested) Very active person who still puts on lots of road races around here.
