The Reflecting Pool

If George was here, a whole bottle of scotch would’ve been snorted.

AI slop — from the backside of the hand it looks like the middle finger was extended but from the front side of the hand it looks like the index finger was extended.

Wait. Why would you even do this? (Drive through the reflecting pool after it was painted)

Sometimes I wonder how gullible or detatched he is. He claims someone used a knife to cut a 350 foot slit into it. None of this is possible really. They painted onto concrete. Then the water got warm and they used a paint thinner to try and kill algae.
Honestly, I wonder if he thinks a vandal did this or if knows in reality it was a bad job by the company he hired directly.

Also the original job was done poorly according to contractors I’ve seen interviewed. They said you have to (1) scrub TF out of the concrete before painting it and (2) let it dry completely and totally, perhaps using heated blowers. Neither of those two things were done by the felon friend of Don who got the no-bid contract.

Never paint, wet, concrete physics 101

And fill the goddamn thing up with real tapwater, so people can jump in there and drink and swim and play and yell at the world. This is mine too. You do know it is Potomac River water, and the Potomac river is an eyesore along the beltway full of phosphorus just begging to algae bloom in stagnant shallow water., but as it moves south, it cleans up nicely. I lived in Indian head, Maryland, where the Mattawoman creek met the Potomac River. And it was a glorious place to live to fish to hunt to experience four seasons I miss Charles County.
