This Chinese hurdler leans into her look, and I support that.

This is very cool. That confidence is neat to watch. And how she knows she has the lift long before she stands up with it. I guess the risky part is getting it overhead with her elbows locked.

I’d like to see her record-breaking snatch in person.

Turns out women can be compelling to watch in team sports. Just not basketball, for some reason.

I'd never heard of her, but apparently that American behemoth got pretty famous in the previous olympics. I watched some interviews and she's delightful. Interesting back stories too, about growing up big as a female. Not quite the steady stream of positive feedback big athletic males receive.

This is coleslaw wrestling a variation of mud wrestling and a big thing here in Florida (where you really don't quite know what is living in the mud.)

Are you sure you know what's living in the coleslaw?

                I was only joking

This is so cool. Wish they did this in other sports. But I guess it's more a kiwi thing than a sport thing.

The haka is cool. If you haven't seen it before it's awesome. I think I first saw it in a video of New Zealand men's rugby or something, then saw it again at another event, then at a wedding, then a funeral, then at a high school basketball game, etc...each viewing makes me find it less cool. But still, it's cool.

I like rodeo. Lots of different events to see. I really want to see Extreme Indian Relay live:

Rodeos are fun, there's one about 3 minutes from my house every July. Kids love it.

I went to the famous houston one. Pretty cool to see the bull roping and horse riding, but the stadium seating was too cramped for me and I had to leave early.

I last went to the Stampede 35 years ago to take in the rodeo and the cutting horse competitions. Rodeo of course was first class though the cutting events in one of the other pavilions was what I was there to watch. There was a couple of my acquaintances competing as was Ian Tyson on his horse Doc Summer Wages.

Finally a tall fashion model type who's actually beautiful rather than someone with a body type that checks all the right boxes.

I am declaring modeling to be a sport.

Chinese culture thinks she is too aware of how pretty she is. Sad.
