Scott Pelley (now fired from 60 Minutes) writes a book in the next year called "I wonder".

That's all. Can we start a polymarket bet for this @horace ?

Funny I hadn’t heard of him before this latest news cycle. I realize that says more about me than him.

60 Minutes ceased being serious journalism decades ago. It simply serves to try to guide public sentiment through highly selective editing. Good riddance. Sheryl Atkisson's Full measure on Sunday mornings is much more honest.

Can't agree. I mean, it's a show at the end of the day, but what a breath of fresh journalism air AS COMPARED TO the 24/7 ratings-feed that most folks see these days.

I like Pelley, but certainly like Bill Whitaker way more.

I'm surprised you actually watched 60 minutes, beyond viral clips. How often did you watch, maybe a couple episodes a year? Or maybe with the football lead-in, you actually did watch regularly.

            Education is extremely important.

I watched it enough to know how many ticks ran off right before commercial it was 20

Here's a piece on a "learn to play piano fast" scam which it seems 60 Minutes heartily endorses.

My wife and I are old souls at times. We record 60 minutes on DVR, so we watch it regularly. Think that's old? We record and watch CBS Sunday Morning, too!

CBS Sunday Morning is a regular here too. Lots of good arts stuff. 60 Minutes decides what they want you to think then edits toward that goal.
