    A long sequence of colorful epithets is a hackneyed trope at best. Not the best reply ever.

    Oh pardon me, you joyless, cardigan-wearing, eyebrow-furrowing, pseudo-intellectual, pipe-clutching, over-analytical, metaphor-strangling, fun-policing, sepia-toned humanities lecturer of a man. Some of us are trying to enjoy the rhythm before you arrive with a clipboard and declare the banter insufficiently original.

    Education is extremely important.

        That article is bollocks. I lived in Manchester for four years, and never heard the word 'bobbins' a single time.

        'Wazzock' is quite commonly used in the north where I grew up. I can't speak for the other unspeakable areas of the country that are addressed by the Failing New York Times.

        I was only joking

            I dislike Farage more than any other UK politician, he is the worst, and shall never vote for anything associatedwith him.

            However, Starmer is difficult to like:

              I wouldn't say that was particularly egregious by today's standards.

              Did you know by any chance that his father was a toolmaker?

                  @Doctor-Phibes

                  Yes he did go through a phase of trying to be one of the boys.
                  Failed to mention that his Dad actually owned the tool making factory

                    He’s a fucking tool so of course his parents are toolmakers by definition.
