Am in the West Kootenays rain forest north of Nelson right now. Hardly any snow this past winter. Not uncommon to get 30’ plus in winter around here. Locals are hoping for a very wet spring otherwise the summer will bring nothing but heat, forest fires, choking smoke and evacuations in addition to all the property damage that comes with raging wildfires.
