I’m too lazy to do a trip report at the end like the early TNCR days so I’ll just log things here as I go.
Firstly, premium economy on Cathay Pacific is nice. 2 dedicated armrests per seat, and plenty of leg room. I’m slouching in my chair and there’s a good 10 inches of space between my knees and the seat in front of me. They gave us drinks while on the ground, hot towels, proper headphones and a good sized pillow and blanket. On par with domestic first class (short haul), though the seat might be a tad narrower.
