@jodi here is my view right now. I actually just went out about a half hour ago and installed that green bird feeder (really hard to see in the picture, it's left of the bluebird birdhouse which is used by every bird except blue birds... mostly black capped chickadees and woodpeckers later in the spring).

A little blurry but this fellow showed up today. Right on cue... the black capped chickadee. Wonder if he's the same as last year?

Caught these 2 lovebirds show up...classic boy chasing girl. First cardinals of the season, I'd like to think the new birdfeeder helped encourage them to come out.

(Side note, squirrels still learned how to jump from the bird house to the feeder where I put it yesterday, so I had to go out today and place it higher. I may or may not have completely fallen off the step stool into the snow on my back after reaching up and barely placing it on the highest branch I could reach)

Dude, they're all Portuguese. You're way whiter than that.

              I was only joking

We got a dusting this morning but it's mostly gone now. We had our punishment earlier.

We got a fresh dusting yesterday but it got to 40 later and melted that new inch off my sidewalk without me shoveling.
