@jon-nyc this negative story reminds me of a friend of my wife, she's a single mom (very nice) but always reads the latest news obsessively. She'll be like "Wow did you hear about the mom you drowned her 2 kids?" "Wow did you hear about the stabbing at the church?" She constantly consumes (negative) news. We are not wired for global 24/7 funnel of negative crap. TURN OFF THE NEWS THE WORLD AINT SO BAD.

My own daughter was approached by guys like that more than once. Luckily she was clever enough to not deal with him. But some of her friends were not.

Mine was as well when she was 12. Luckily I was monitoring all her internet use. He and I had a frank and open discussion about his prospects should his name ever crop up again. Then I turned him in to the sheriff.
