Optimistically a regime that didn’t pursue nuclear weapons for millenarian purposes, didn’t build proxy armies all over the Middle East (and soon Europe) to destabilize governments also for millenarian purposes, etc.
But we know better than to be too optimistic about these things.

Had to look up millenarian. Interesting. I find it hard to believe that something as arbitrary as base 10 mathematics (I suspect 10 fingers... 10 toes is the genesis of that) has anything to do with or effect on world events.
And I don't see how another attack is a remotely likely catalyst for that.

The US has now 2 aircraft carrier groups moved to just outside of Iran? Each of those holds ~80 planes.....................

If it results in regime change, great. I doubt it. It’s easier to stay in power if you don’t care who you kill to do so.

Agree, but I am fearing that even if there is a regime change, what does that mean? New people but same situation?
I know it is early in Venezuela, and I do think that Madero had to go, but is the new regime any different?

Considering all he said about Iraq being the greatest mistake in American history, this is an interesting strategy.

It’s literally the same regime. They just found a more pliant figure to lead it.

@jon-nyc to quote FDR, “He may be a bastard, but he's our bastard“
