      I do too. There is the english saying, "Ignorance is bliss" and I think this applies, but in a good way sometimes.

        I hear some people criticize the view that ‘things were better in my 20s’ as not being so much about the world, rather about the speaker being 20-something. There’s truth to that, but objectively speaking some times and places are better than others and some people will have been in their 20s at that time and place.

        I put myself in that category. My 20s were basically between the fall of the Berlin Wall and the dot-com boom. Yes we had a minor recession in there but in general it was a very promising time geopolitically and economically. The ‘end of history’ vibe was real and tech optimism was real.

        I suspect Jensen is just a little older than me.

            All I know is I physically peaked at age 27. All downhill from there.
