So we are not going to be available to refill the humidifiers in the store over the next two days… they use 4 gallons each per day in whether like this. Our solution? One of my employees and I cut off the tops of 4 empty 5-Gallon water bottles we had in the store. I bought 4 small segmented hoses and we designed a siphon system to each of the 4 5-gallons humidifiers, where it pulls the water to equal volume levels. So far, so good…

Good thinking. And nice to see it working for a bit a bit before you leave for two days. You can even top them off before you leave tonight.

The whole reason we call them illegal aliens is because they’re subject to our laws.

I could do that with my dampp-chaser before a trip I suppose. I'd have to get the height just right.

Just topped them all off and did so through the extra tank. It was gratifying to see the main tank lift correspondingly…

Very cool, I do that for my Christmas tree each year. I've been using the same gallon milk jug (with water, of course) and set up using Pascal's Principle (?) or whatever it's called where the water levels remain the same. I fill the jug up with water every few days as the tree sucks it up.
