Yeah I'll be shoveling our walk and around my car (which I park on the street despite having a garage - long story). My plan is to do it every few hours so ~~I don't have a heart attack~~ it doesn't pile up too much.

I’m grabbing a few tarps today. Plan to lay them on the sidewalks Saturday night, and every few hours toss the accumulated snow into the yard… Will still need to dig out the cars, but will cover them as well.

People in Quebec often tent their vehicles, then pole off the accumulations. I’ve never done this, but my vehicle has only been buried twice.

I'm buying a garden shovel today to be able to break through ice (which is expected to cover the snow) and to grab manageable loads as compared to the large snow shovel I usually use. I'll get bundled up and go out every time there's another 4-5" of accumulation. Fortunately most of it is coming during the day.
