Lo, no accord shall bloom 'twixt us and that realm, save they do kneel in token of their utter, soul-deep shame! No parley shall we hold, no treaty sign, until their will is broken, and their strength doth lie as dust before our might. -DJT, 3/6/26

Sigh, the alternative would have appointed a more competent Secretary of HHS.

The alternative would have been held to a different standard, and would never have been put into the position to defend every decision, down to OMG a bureaucrat bending the framing of a question and getting some obscure fact wrong, and then a dunker on Twitter framing the incorrect fact as wrong by a factor of 10 or 20 omg! because small numbers can be wrong by large factors and still not really that wrong. It's all tedious, we can each choose our own threshold for tedium.

        Education is extremely important.

That’s an interesting framing right there. This isn’t the Friday crossword puzzle. He’s taking away vaccines based on shit data and lies. That’s not trivial and the results will be measured in suffering and death.

A lot of insurance coverage follows official recommendations. Including Medicaid which covers about half of all children. (Though some states are making allowances for the kooks running policy these days).

For your average kid in Mississippi for example, Kennedy just took away half your vaccines.

By the way, there’s a measles outbreak in South Carolina that is larger in magnitude than has been seen in the entire US in any of the past 30 years prior to Trump taking office.

The second in command to the kook above called it ‘the price of doing business’ as if international travel can cause an outbreak in a vaccinated population.

You know, there was a lot of hope and optimism during the countdown to the new millennium in 1999 and 2000. Who would've thought the peak was the 1990s? As a kid, that meant blockbuster nights, TGIF, eating at a Pizza Hut buffet, and riding bikes down to the local creek or swimming pool all day. Oh and a relatively calm world worder, balanced US budget, and a President whose worst speaking moment was asking what the definition of is, is.

FDA flatly declines to even review Moderna’s new flu vaccine citing vague concerns about the control arm which they previously approved.

I was thinking about that. If you need a flat surface and can’t risk openly using the sink area of a public bathroom. Still can’t you find a sheet of paper or something?

Moderna will no longer invest in Phase 3 vaccine trials for infectious diseases and is shelving their Epstein-Barr, Herpes, and Shingles programs.
