I find it hard to believe some disgruntled citizen doesn't step up to the plate and take these unpopular dictators out. They can't all be passive & peace loving once they leave the army.
Putin for example must have intense and uncomfortable levels of security given the hate he must generate in Russia.

He doesn’t generate hate among his subjects, but rather envy of his power.

Maybe? Perhaps he knew it was inevitable all along. I did hear today that Maduro dancing on TV, as simple as that is, is what triggered Trump to say enough is enough. Funny how history is littered with small acts that result in historic changes. He also seemed to enjoy the infamous perp walk a bit.

All that being said, I’m getting a tad smarter about Venezuela and am somewhat baffled (but not really) how a country with such a depth of resources is so corrupt.

Similar thoughts about Epstein and why I think it's totally reasonable for him to have committed suicide.
