In the meantime, while people in NY and Minnesota are complaining and ridiculing federal law enforcement assisting in DC, the DC mayor is signing executive orders to continue and improve cooperation between District and Federal enforcement and is publicly admitting that it’s helping. I'm not saying it wouldn't help. I'm saying the crime problem isn't as bad as what Trump is lying about (shocker), and that it's overkill and silly to bring in these mine resistant vehicles, machine guns, and essentially the army. Watch the statistics after the publicity stunt is over rebound to where it was. It's a marketing/distraction thing that could be otherwise be addressed with smarter long-term approaches such as decreased red tape for arrests and increased incentives for hiring more local police. At least the gardening looks good, though.

I thought the preacher cadence was over the top, but at least she's an actual preacher. But whomever thought it was a good idea to hire a preacher to do something other than preach, might be taking the preacher a bit too seriously. The word of God doesn't include instruction on how to be a good police chief.
