Gonna be a windy next 48 hours! I'm just hoping any precipitation is snowy in nature. We've had a nice December so far with a few snowfalls, so it's beautiful outside. A white christmas is always nice, so I hope it doesn't get washed away from what you're sending us!

@renauda Thanks for this. It’s coming fast. The temp difference between central AB and YYC is dramatic. I best find me a heated garage asap. It’s howling outside. My vehicle is old and exposed.

Well it’s clipped through. Getting colder now. Some neighbor guy has his ATV rigged up and plowed all our sidewalks. I guess they’re all getting ready for ice fishing season, all of them have their rails on their trucks. No doubt there will be skidoos ripping up and down the street soon. I think I’m going to cave and hire out for snow removal. I’m old enough now, can’t risk a fall, and a triple garage is so much more to clear. No guilt.

Windy here, nothing out of the ordinary although we did get weather alerts for the next 24 hours which is usually pretty valid when you get an alert. Basically tomorrow it'll be windy with bands of rain/mixed/snow blowing in at times... so avoid going out on the ice to fish or driving an 18 wheeler broadside of the wind direction.
