I like Vance OK, but he's vulnerable. His association with Trump was the fast track to a potential WH bid, but it comes with a whole lot of baggage. The GOP also has a far deeper bench of attractive candidates.

Cruz is a sharp guy. Whoever runs, it's going to be a brutal primary. I now have concerns about Rubio since he reportedly supports Venezuela military action. We don't need W-II.

I don't think Trump will do anything like that. This term is taking a lot out of him.

Vance will have to promise, very publicly and very frequently, that Trump will still be his boss, for Trump to go along with a scheme like this; and Vance will have to thank Trump very publicly five times a day for the privilege.

It's not legal and it won't happen. And most of Trump's pure idiocy will go away with him. I am not concerned by post-trump "Maga", whatever that will mean. I'm just not seeing the crazy in people like Vance or Rubio.

I assume Iran war. It’s off brand for him, reporting says he counseled Trump against, yet he’s going to have to defend it.

This Iran war is turning out to be a pretty dumb idea. The Iranians have stolen the the "Crazy Man" card from Trump and he has no where to go and it's going to leave the Republicans in a difficult spot. They will most likely lose the midterms and now the 2028 Presidential election won't be that easy. I think Vance will get the nod and have a hard fight against some Democratic Looney Tune.
