        The name "Trump Account" is nauseating (ironic that Trump likes gold, since he's kind of the anti-King Midas bankrupting most businesses his name touches), that being said........yeah I think Jamie Dimon or someone also talked about this "give every kid $1000 401K when they are born" idea to improve retirement wealth. Not a bad idea, suck if you were born Dec 31, 2024 though.

          SO this is intended to be retirement? My idea was that they would have access for certain purposes at 18.

            At 18 it becomes a normal IRA basically, with long term holdings taxes and maybe early withdrawal penalties?

              It’s a good idea. Fortunately it will be renamed before any of the beneficiaries can read.
