    Sec. Trans. Duffy's retro PSA:

    Link to video

Civility is good. Civility is easier when there is more space between you and the other passengers.

Does anyone miss Mayor Sec. Trans. Pete?

He’s not wrong but yeah hard to imagine this YouTube video turning things around.

Maybe a push towards greater civility in all works of life will be the big driver for Trump's second term.

        I was only joking

That would be the height of irony.

a bit retarded. in the 50's and 60's airtravel was a luxury. for the wealthy. the equivalent of first class in ocean travel (think titanic)
seats were roomy. food was restaurant style. everyone was civil.
now its just another form of steerage class (think titanic) hell.

on the up side, planes are a lot safer than they used to be. so less chance of ending up in icy water (think titanic)

It certainly seems to be the unifying theme of the administration.

No, he’s not but I have very seldom experienced incivility on planes. Aside from some kid kicking the back of my seat, it’s really only been last Christmas flight to Vegas that had to stop in KC because of a passenger’s unfortunate statement about a gun.

There was one time at DFW after mass weather cancellations I swiped some guy’s cab to get to a hotel. It was a pretty dog eat dog night there. Ground transportation was overwhelmed.

But bach has a point. The first class lounge is far more civilized than the waiting area at gate 15B

And that goes back to steamship travel.

Jack up the ticket prices and passengers will be more civilized, right?

                        Already tried that. Didn't work.

Bigger seats, then. As posited in the opening post:

Civility is easier when there is more space between you and the other passengers.

That's what I noticed in the video when they show air travel in the old days. 🤷
