      Yeah very true. Of course hindsight and all that... but seriously why did he have such a short lead? Maybe I should watch Horace's video.

          Even worse... he was wearing a sliding glove. WHY did he slide feet first? I'm not even a blue jays fan, although I did want to see some of their players win it (and Mattingly as a player/coach/manager for 39 years without a ring). Just maddening.

              The frustration kf these sorts of losses where the woulda couldas are so blatant is another reason I am uninterested in investing in sports fandom. The highs are not worth the lows.

                  The only defense that they didn't want to get doubled off is not backed up by stats. The green dots are any line-drives by the batter at the time. Zero percent of the time does he line the ball towards 3rd base, which makes sense since he's a lefty hitter.
