It doesn’t end things itself but the mere fact that a small handful of republicans are putting country before party is encouraging. To me anyway.

The numbers aren’t any different than the first try at this, except this time McConnell was present.

Lot of missing data, so hard to take any conclusions. Numbers in BLUE are not up to date (mainly from end August rather then end Sept), as the US government shutdown means many data is not yet released.
