I've thought for a while that mayor pete is their best bet. Him vs Vance would actually pit two legitimately intelligent and well spoken people against each other.

I don't think America is ready to elect a gay man to the presidency. I think he'd be very weak, or at least perceived as such, in foreign relations.

I enjoy predictions but have had a horrible track record lately... sports, politics... I remember thinking there is no way a TV host would ever be elected President in 2016, and then thinking there is no way a twice-impeached, dozens of felonies, insurrection inspiring, crypto grifting, gold-bible selling, about-to-go-to-prison person who lost the previous election would ever win again. But then... Biden proved everyone right in the debate, and the can't-even-win-a-primary Jamaican-Irish wonder entered the stage...

I thought about him earlier, but he seems to be more like a Kamala... says anything people want to hear, but ultimately a weak pick. His abandonment of his principles to sit at the Trump Sycophant table made me lose any respect I had for him (I used to like him back in the 2012-2016 range).

Interesting. Not sure if you voted for Trump this time around, but I'd take Vance 1000x over Trump, especially a Vance without a Trump Noose around his neck. Has Trump bankrupted a noose company yet?

Jussie Smollet bought the noose he used in his fake attack from Trump Nooses ‘n Hoods ‘n Torches LLC. Company is still going strong. I’m expecting my monthly subscription delivery later this week. I think they’re pink for breast cancer awareness month.

Vance would be better than Trump if only because he doesn’t have the hold on the party that Trump does so he couldn’t get away with implementing policies that even his party thinks are stupid and/or corrupt.
