Not clever to cherry pick and change the order. Taking something out of context that says what you want it to is frequent. Cut and pasting it like you're CBS is foolish. You can't get away with it.

It’s what is done. Whether it’s a good idea or not. Suffice to say that Reagan believed wholeheartedly in free trade as a means of bringing nations together. In the case of North America he saw it as a single market with few if any barriers to trade and investment. In that sense the Ontario ad is right on target.

Thanks Renauda. The ad was better than I thought it would be and then later maybe not so best when I heard the run through from the BBC. But edited or not Reagan's point is good in the long run. The USA and EVERYBODY ELSE would benefit from free trade.

Possible that the ad itself had little to do with Trump’s tantrum:

Possible. Sad that we have to consider such possibilities.

It really is little more than an extravagantly expensive distraction for all parties concerned. But that seems to be what the current WH Administration is all about. Extravagance and distraction.

When Trump gets past his tantrum we’re here to support his every need. In the meantime he just needs to suck his thumb and enjoy the World’s Series.

Pretty sure that’s not how the founders envisioned this working.
