Giant Sinkhole in Bangkok

Apparently, a water or sewer pipe broke. Fortunately, nobody was injured but it happened right next to a hospital.

Oh I've been watching some remarkable footage from it, including cars almost getting pulled in as well as the rescue of a car (you can barely see it in the pic).

The work continues on fixing.
The Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) said the immediate priority was to stop soil and groundwater from moving into the Vajira Hospital station in Dusit district. The station is under construction as part of the Purple Line extension route.
Sandbags were also laid to block rainwater from flowing into the sinkhole, which was about 30 metres wide, 30 metres long and 20 metres deep. Rainwater could cause further subsidence, the MRTA said.
The collapse occurred just after 7am on Wednesday morning when a tunnel housing the subway track caved in, causing the soil above to shift quickly and slide into the underground station. Broken pipes allowed water to pour into the hole, worsening the slide.
Bangkok governor Chadchart Sittipunt said that about 50,000 sandbags had already been dumped into the sinkhole to plug the cracked section of the tunnel to stop more soil from flowing in.
