Not really. I’ve hit the target 7/10 times at 200 yards and Lucas can hit 10/10 within a 2” spread at that range. For hunting rifles, it’s considered short/intermediate range.

I heard they have the rifle and his footprint and arm print, whatever good that is. I heard they believe it was a student. How sad for a young person to throw his life away like this.

Seems like foot and arm print could be evidence once you find the guy, but they’re not going to help you find him. There’s no arm print database anywhere.

200 yards is a longer shot but the target was sitting perfectly still so it’s not terribly hard, presuming wind was calm. Anyway, a shame, and feel horrible for his kids and family of course.
