If you were an all-star college QB

Would you tank to avoid being drafted by Cleveland? I think I would… Come in a solid #3…

Are you referring to Archie? lol
Not just Arch… Remember “Suck For Luck”? I’m thinking QBs are having “Suck to stay the *#+%…out of Cleveland”.

Pittsburgh too. Actually the only AFC North team that didn’t embarrass itself in the offseason was Baltimore.

I assume you mean because of the Aarron Rodgers deal? Otherwise, all Pittsburgh did was add one of the top 10 young receivers, trade away a locker room cancer, add 2 of the top 15 CBs in the league, draft 2 exceptional DL, and a top RB. Oh, they also added on a TE that was the top receiver for his team. They also wisely did not over commit to a bad QB class and get sucked into taking a bad QB early. They also accumulated 13(!) draft picks to be ready for next year’s class. They were a playoff team last year, and only improved the team to make for a nice soft landing spot for next year’s pick.
As for Aaron Rodgers, who was better on the open market? There wasn’t anybody. They put out their interest, but signed Mason back and were fully prepared to go forward with him if Rodgers didn’t sign. They only paid the guy $10M, and he looks to be a steal at that price.
Even his detractors in the local media have come back impressed as he’ll.
