I was on a panel at the American Thoracic Society in May and the moderator was a woman who had whatever that condition is that causes that pattern of hair loss. I really feel sorry for women who have that. It’s so strikingly unexpected and, frankly, unattractive. At least if you’re a dude you blend in with half the other dudes your age. Especially if you tightly cut the remaining parts.
