I know a Jew who jews for a living that made a social media commercial for him.
Flip description but he makes his living touring internationally with a klezmer band and has a won a Grammy. I was shocked when I saw him supporting Momdani.

We live in strange times. Even the stupidest dog knows what pack he belongs to.

@LuFins-Dad said in Cuomo?:
Hard to imagine anti-Zionist or antisemite winning in Jew York, even if he has the D next to his name.
He’s actually got a fair amount of “progressive” Jew support. The Jewish comptroller has been very public in his support. He really plays into the anti-Zionism ≠ antisemite.
He got the wealthy college educated white person vote. Progressive Jews will be a big part of that. The people in the parts of the city he aims to help most directly with his helpful socialism, voted mostly for Cuomo.

I cannot read that because it's paywalled. Also because I never learned to read, but mostly because it's paywalled.

Every year there seems to be more people about whom I say 'Who the hell are they?'

For me it’s more like ‘Why the hell are they?’

Gift link:
"He was elected by promising economic solutions that are not possible in practice, but I really love his authenticity, and that's why I voted for him."

Is the article about Trump or Mamdani?

The educated progressive whites know why that is - because the people they are helping, are low information voters who only vote by name recognition. They don't say that out loud of course, but they know that that's why the poor people voted for Cuomo.

You may be giving them too much credit, at least on average. I imagine most assume that of course the oppressed people they’re trying to protect voted for The Good Guy.
