Not for me, yet. My parents want to know if there are any good over the counter or not-$8k versions out there that someone would recommend?

Apple’s new AirPods claim to be able to function as hearing aids but I don’t know how good they are.

Steve gets his at Costco. He’s been happy with them. (They are not over the counter but were not $8000.) He goes in and has them checked and adusted periodically. You do have to wear them all the time, and maintain them for them to work the best for you (your parents).

Thanks Jodi! My FIL's hearing is even worse and he refuses to get anything. On the flipside, I have a 44 year old buddy who has (nearly invisible) hearing aids. I'd hope when the time comes to need hearing support I will not delay... I cannot understand why someone would choose to limit hearing. Then again, I've only been married for 12 years 😄
