Let's get it straight - they are protesting because they can no longer expect to freely waltz in and out of America.

I doubt it's illegal immigrants protesting, it's just too dangerous. I imagine it's mostly American progressives 'resisiting'. Anyway I agree they're hurting their cause and doing Mexicans here no favor.

If you don't take it, it can only good happen.

This is also the natural resort of relatively weak immigration policies for decades.

          Probably true.

It's minor in comparison yet, but reminds me a bit of the cathartic protesting you saw in Trump's first term with the woman pink hat scream fest thing and later BLM... people looking for a way to physically vent outside of the ballot box against policies they don't like.

A whiff or two of grapeshot should settle the rabble. If not, it would codify the new rules of engagement with the unruly masses.

I’m surprised Japan would ever have rioters and looters.

That's actually Hong Kong, not Japan.

Presumably suggesting we act like the Chinese government would be less appealing.

                          I was only joking

Fanciful utopian ideas such as "the majority of cars not being on fire" have no place in serious political discourse.

                                      Education is extremely important.
