Every horse in the race is a descendant of Secretariat.
I have one too (along with a million other OTTB owners, lol)!
His name is Ruler. He raced 7 times, won three, came in third once. He’s 16 this year, I’ve owned him for almost 5 years. I found a photo of him online, with a photographers mark on it, contacted them and bought some racing photos of him winning as a 2 year old (I may have shared these already):

And last June, first time up on him since the year before, about 5 months after my back got bad. All I did on him last year was walk, my back couldn’t handle more. (Still can’t, really
