First Wawa stop

Annnnd, it has joined Buck-ee's in the pantheon of places I will never go again. We bought a breakfast burrito and a quesadilla. The burrito was pretty gross and much too much overcooked tortilla. Ate about a third of it and pitched. A quesadilla is essentially Mexican grilled cheese to be eaten by hand. This thing was overstuffed and not possible to eat while driving. Fork food.
The process was not very efficient. first you go to a kiosk to order. Too many screens, too oriented to customization. Then you get a number and wait for your food, then have to go to a self-checkout. Driving through McDonalds is much more efficient and better food.

I prefer Sheetz over WaWa.

We're getting them too.
Remember that itβs all relative. A restaurant will always have better food than a gas station, but these places have far better offerings than old gas station food.

I'm a Sheetz guy, mostly out of nostalgia at this point from my days in college in Virginia or roadtrips in Pennsylvania. I did try Wawa a few times before moving, their sandwiches were better (IIRC) that Sheetz and didn't have the experience you did, @Mik
BTW... there is a new Buckees going in a few exits sounds of Harrisonburg, VA that will do quite well I'm sure. Might be Virginia's first location?
